Please enjoy my podcast on Entrepreneurial Leadership Innovation and Creation. In my podcast, I mention several catchy phrases, songs, and slogans that make products memorable. The products I mention came easily to mind and I have fond memories of them. I was inspired to create the podcast by watching The Coca Cola History Documentary. Links to the video and links to each of the products mentioned in the podcast are listed below.

I was thoroughly entertained with your presentation as it related to the subject matter but more importantly the message as well. It was interesting to hear about the Coca Cola beginning. I thought all great innovations were created in garages, but Coca Cola began in a basement !!! And by an unsuccessful pharmacist which leads credence to the story that the original Coca Cola may have had cocaine as an ingredient. You brought back many childhood memories. By the way OSCAR MEYER has just recently advertised for two year commitments for new drivers for their Hot Dog truck. I have seen that vehicle in person a couple of times over the years. I must agree 100% with the advertising and marketing statements. The message must be memorable such as “Magically Delicious”, or “They’re Great”. The number one most confusing TV advertising I see every single time are the ones for perfume. I generally always can tell that it is another ad for perfume but the message is so poor in my opinion, and I’d surely never remember which brand the ad was for. Same thing every time…. a message ending with the name as if that makes in memorable. Great job
Kay,
Your podcast production was very interesting and I definitely enjoy some of the stories you added to get your ideas across. I especially enjoyed your thoughts on how some of those catch phrases can be the beginning of something so much bigger than itself; it just takes a bit of creativity and a decent idea to take things to the next level. I also enjoy your encouragement for others to keep going. Failure is sometimes unavoidable, but the key is to learn from mistakes and move on to the next battle. Just because you lost a battle doesn’t mean you lost the war. Entrepreneurs are persistent warriors that don’t give up and are always looking forward to the next big thing… just like the Coca-Cola failed pharmacist. Great podcast, Kay!
Best regards,
