Dr. Patricia Kay Reyna
My current research interests focus on interventions for caregivers caring for persons with traumatic brain injury and on interventions for traumatic brain injury affected persons. My professional experience through non-profits focusing on injured law enforcement officers, fire fighters, and veterans and their caregivers and my personal experience as a previous owner of a licensed community respite health care facility, as a certified nursing assistant, and as a caregiver providing care for my husband who sustained a brain injury in the line of duty guides my passion for this research. My background includes a wide variety of education, non-profit, health care, caregiving, and ministry experience.
